Autumn Weisgarber
Born and raised in a small-town in Ohio, Autumn attended the University of Akron where she earned her Bachelors of Psychology in 1999. She went on to marry her college sweetheart, Kenneth Weisgarber, and embarked on the adventure of a lifetime as a military spouse. This led her to the beginning of her optometric career in 2005 and to New Orleans in 2008, where she met Dr. Leah Heitmeier. The military took them to many different places, all across the country, but when her husband retired from the Navy they chose to make New Orleans their forever home. In 2020 Autumn earned her masters in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. Enabling her and Dr. Heitmeier to work together and run their own practice, a dream that has spanned their entire friendship.
